216-333-1222 and 216-201-9283 are claiming payday loan collection. Scam!!! Same dude answers each number claiming to be Roth Goldberg Associates. They're calling relatives and JOB and everything leaving my social and sensative info on peoples voicrmail!!!! Im getting ready to put fraud alert on everything. No telling what these schemers/scammers are doing or what crimes they may br committing with mine/your info!!!

I just got a phone call from 216-201-9283, the guy on the phone told me he is representing my bank and the payday loan company. He told me that he is going to take criminal action against me because I am unwilling to take care of this debt and he said my bank is taking me to court also. I know that is a lie because that was an account I had opened in 2003 and it didn't stay open very long because of the payday loan company. I paid my bank of several years ago because I have had a new account with this bank since then. Now if they were pursuing criminal charges against me, why would they open up another account for me? These people are full of it. I had this very same thing happen to me about 31/2 years ago. A woman called me pretending like she was an attorney and she said I was going to be arrested and the police was going to come to my job to pick me up If I didn't pay the loan. Well silly me I made payment arrangements with her and paid $50 every week. Then I started researching the phone number and I made a few calls and asked questions like could I be arrested for not paying a payday loan and I was told no. Also, I found out by searching blogs like this one that the company was actually a debt collection agency using scare tactics and I immediately stopped paying the loan.
I received a call from a gentlemen there, he stated he had to transfer me to a director which was very rude stating to get an attorney. I asked for what he said you will be served and hung up. I have no idea who these people are or what they wanted. I would like to report harrassment on these people.
Is there a way to stop these people? What they are doing is illegal. Caller pretended to be a police officer. When I asked him, if he was said no. I told him that he was not to call. He told me to be prepared to have my attorney appear with me in court! They are not an illegitimate firm.
