I answered as I thought it mugh be my cousin on his new number. A woman was on the line telling me I could get up to 40 percent of my student loans forgiven. I was a bit wary, as she had a foreign accent and there are many scams. She ended up transferring me to Joe, who claims he was in Los Angeles. He was American and fairly knowledgable. It came to a point where he was going to ask me sensitive information. I told him that, having worked in fraud prevention, I was not comfortable with that over the phone and asked him to send me some documentation. He agreed, and if he does send me the information, I will look into it and try to post back here again with an update for everyone.
