the call starts out with a recorded message that says, "this is wca with a special promotion on home security in your neighbourhood," at which point i hang up.
this makes it a DOUBLE violation of the do-not-call registry: 1) my number is registered and 2) even if you're *not* registered, recorded messages are a violation, in and of themselves! you can report a pre-recorded message auto-dialed call even if you're *not* listed on the d-n-c registry!
This number belongs to WCA, a travel vacation thing. If you get a call from them it's because you signed up for some free service, like a free E-news letter, or checked the box to get info from some companies third party "affiliates". Like if you entered an online contest or something. The said I won $2500 for a 6 day vacation in Mexico. They give you the option to take your name of the list and ask to give them 7 days to remove it.
