The automated system will use a computer posing as an actual human. You will be prompted for a "survey" and a jackpot that does not really exit. Depending on the answers given, you will be routed to the old "pay-the-port-tax-for-your-free-cruise" scam, or the "credit-card-number-needed-to-send-you-free-gift-cards" fraud. You might get someone who sounds like they are from the USA or someone who can hardly speak anything resembling English. It is a whole gambit of scams.
