some lady wanted to purchase an item from me off of craigslist. She asks for your email and the proceeds to ask for your address so she can mail a check to you with an extra amount for your troubles. THIS IS A SCAM. My mother works at a bank and she received scams like this all the time. They get you to deposit the check and they will try to tell you to wait until the check is clear and wants you to drive to the nearest western union to send the rest of the money to a mover. And then that mover will then make arrangements to come pick up your item. The checks are fake and then you will be held responsible.
