I received 2 missed calls from this number with no voicemail left. I answered the 3rd time and the lady said she was from AT&T in regards to my DSL service appointment. She tried telling me the service was completely free yada yada yada.... I felt like it was a scam so I said no, I'm not comfortable with that and got off the phone. I had to contact AT&T 3 different ways (chat, store, and online sales department) before I found out it is a 'legitimate' 3rd party except the original lady never told me there is a monthly fee for the 'free' service! Thank goodness I did not agree!!!
I have received 3 phone calls from this number. I tried calling it back thinking it had to do with my laptop which was sent off to best buy and they were giving me an update. I called and the number was not a working number and was disconnected. After seeing the post about at&t that makes since because my husband and I set up internet service with them and denied cable. Thanks for the heads up!
Just received a call from this number. I didn't answer as it stated "Ohio" as the caller ID and they didn't leave a message. No thanks! If the other posters are correct in that it is a third party AT&T caller, then it should be noted that I JUST ordered their DSL Internet Services and am scheduled to get it all turned on tomorrow and are potentially trying to get customers to bundle with other services such as cable, directTV, or home phone system.
