Keep getting calls from this number and when answer nobody is there, so stopped answering it, but still get calls from it.

Me too but I don't answer.  When I call the number it says it is no longer in service.

a guy called about paying off payloans. I said I don't have one he said his name was chris harris, when I said a bunch of company are doing scams he said ok have a nice day and hung up. 216-278-0121.

I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone.  I have not talked to anyone calling, they are just on my cell phone.  When I called the number back I was told that the number is not in service.  I want these calls to stop.

Same debt-fraud scam, just a new number.  I get these all the time on my cell phone, and at one point contacted my state's Attorney General.  The numbers are cloaked and often come from another country like Jamaica, Nigeria, etc.  They have devices that make them untraceable.  Best advice:  do not answer an unusual area code number, OR call them back.  They are fishing for a working number, and if you answer, they'll do a reverse search, find out who you are & where you live, then arrives a phony notice of "debt due".  You don't want it to get this far.  Believe me, I speak from experience.
