Got a call on my cell phone from this number at 8:20 a.m.. There was a  'message'. It was a tone from a fax machine.

I googled it and it is the Highland Hts police dept/fax in Beachwood, OH.

I do not know anyone in this area. I will be calling them later to find out who is using this number to bother me. Hopefully, the POLICE can run a trace to see who is abusing their system.

Highland Hills man accused of posing as a police officer
Published: Wednesday, June 02, 2010
HIGHLAND HILLS, Ohio -- A 25-year-old Highland Hills auxiliary policeman was indicted today on charges accusing him of impersonating a police officer and using police computer programs to look up information on women.

Christopher Moore was charged with tampering with records, forgery, unauthorized use of a computer system, impersonating a police officer and possessing criminal tools.
Ryan Miday, spokesman for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office, said in a news release that from July to October, Moore used the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG) and the Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) to gather information on people.
Officers are not allowed to access those databases when not conducting a valid police investigation.

Just to announce that Highland Hills PD is using its new NEXEDGE digital radio system. But it was reported that the new repeater system will transmit in analog at times until all the mobile and portable radios are switched over to new NXD units. So the system upgrade from summer 2010 is at 99% complete as of this date.
