I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. It was "Ann, with Account Services calling with GOOD NEWS!" The recording promised I could lower my credit card interest rate to as low as 4.9%. The recording also promised, once again, that I should consider this my final offer (even though they've called hundreds of times and I know they'll probably call again tomorrow. This recording is the same one that I have been receiving since I got my new cell phone number over two years ago. They've been calling me from random numbers every day (including holidays) for TWO YEARS!!! If I ever find them, I might have to go to jail for the things that I will do to them.
I don't know what kind of business model involves calling the same numbers daily sometimes twice per day - today they called me at 11:18 AM and again at 11:31 AM (PDT) - when the party at that number has said "Not interested," "Remove me," "Go to hell," "You're breaking the law by calling me," and other ways that clearly express #1 I won't be duped, #2 I know you're a scammer, and #3 I'm not interested.
These people are crooks; they are not a legitimate business and have no regard for the Do Not Call list. They will try to tell you that they work on behalf of Visa and Mastercard to help customers lower their interest rate. If you give them your credit card numbers, they will basically give you a script of what to say to your creditor and then charge you hundreds to thousands of dollars for this "service." DO NOT GO ALONG WITH THEM! They are scam artists operating illegally.
I tried googling "National Lottery Investigation Board". Nothing came up.
I live in the UK and have never heard of anything like a mobile lottery.
If the National Lottery in the UK started giving money away abroad, then they would be taken out and hung at the Tower of London! Please do not respond! Please check the UK National Lottery web site
