Same Canadian Pharmacy, they have been calling me the last 5 years. Only way to stop them completely is to change your phone number. The "Do not call registry" doesn't apply to them since they are out of the USA. I just keep adding them to my phone blocked list. Some day I'll change my number.
As a matter of fact, that's not exactly true! They can be called on the carpet and fined, Canada's laws are very similar to ours also, so you could file complaints both country's. And changing your phone number isn't exactly going to help either. Almost all phone numbers are someone else's old numbers and brings with it someone else's problems.
You can buy a decent call blocking device or phone, Amazon has a nice selection for under 60..
And you should still report these calls, there's also new laws effective the 16th of this month:
Just remember that new laws do not deter criminals; especially when they use spoofing technology, i.e. they can pretend to be calling from a number when they are using a different one in a different location. Therefore, reporting them is useless.
just called here - they hung up before the answering machine answered (set to answer on the 5th ring - most give up before that) - no message left - now blocked - caller ID reads "OHIO"
