Some debt collection company stating that I owe a local hospital bill $600. (Mind you that another legit company called me a week earlier stating the same thing.) I asked 'Mr. Rhodes' if he could send me something in the mail regarding this bill. He said no. "We need to take care of this right now! I'm offering you a 40% discount, so if we could please have your credit card information I'd gladly take care of this."
The time frame of the dates they gave me over the phone didn't match. The language of the 'representatives' was sketchy, if not verbatim. Scam artists!!!
Never, never, never, never, never, never settle a debt if you know what your debt is! Settlements with these phony debt collections are never legit, and they will be a negative mark on your credit score. TELL THEM TO KICK ROCKS!!!!!!
