My parents received a call from this number, and apparently it was for me? But they had my last name wrong, and they wanted to contact another person with the same wrong last name. Only correct thing they had was my first name. She said her name was Agent Davis and asked me to return her call at her extension. Out of curiosity I blocked me cell number and called this number that was given, got a recorded message that said something like, "This is the Investigations Unit. Please enter your extension and we will try to contact the agent on their Nextel. If we are unable to contact them please leave a message." Of course I hung up. I got online to see if I could find any info to figure out what it was and I stumbled upon this website, and stories of somewhat similar phone calls that are scam. Harassing scam calls demanding money and so on. Was hoping to find this same number but hoping that starting a thread with it will give me more info from others who have been contacted by it and what can be done to report it. How do these people sleep at night?! Weird.
