This phone number appeared on March 10 (2014) at 6:05 pm. The caller I.D. read "Revenue Assistance". I wasn't home at the time, but I would not have answered an unfamiliar number in any case.
To me "revenue" equals taxes and "assistance" equals help. At this time of year with April 15th approaching, would some unsuspecting person actually give financial and personal information to a caller who pretended to offer help with taxes?
I would like to hear from anyone who actually talked to the person at this number. This is the first time I've heard of this group.
Recv'd a call from this number and did not leave a message. I called back and it was from the Illuminating Company on an electric bill that I had not paid. The Illuminating Company had passed the debt to a debt collector to be collected. I moved out of my apartment and it was for the final bill and I just forgot to pay. They were were very understanding and setup two payments with me to pay off my final bill but there was a $4.50 fee to process the payment.
