same here funny how our phone companies sell our phone numbers they called me today. and said the same thing. I reprted them tFTC also it is a verizon cellphone not a land line report to verizon I sure am!!!!
Got a call from them from an unknown # . Said that I was named in a restaing order,scam, and that they were holding off calling my employer. They are a scam!!!!!
This is a scam. I have also gotten a phone call from another company in South Carolina and the extreme pressure, lack of intellignce, lack of proffesionalism, and lack of knowledge about anything from the employees lead me to believe that this is a nationwide scam. They couldn't/ wouldn't provide me with any details on any of the apparent subject matter, etc. I am getting sick and tired of this and would really like to know how to stop these people from scamming people! All they do is demand money, curse, and dance around questions. They say its a restraining order, yet they don't have any documentation, and that the "problem will go away, as soon as you pay..." Now what kind of restraining order goes away if you pay?
Same phone call - the number comes up as "unknown" - why isn't there a law against these people who try to illegally get money from you??? NOT calling them back...I do have a legal firm so I can always give them a call.
