Robo call from the Cleveland Animal Protective League. This annoying demand for cash every three weeks is due to an ANNUAL donation we made four years ago in memory of a friend. Now, every few weeks, we get a robo call AND a letter in the mail telling us of an enormous need, that they have had an "emergency" and desperately need us to give them at least $100 or animals will die. Maybe others are dumb enough, but the mailing campaign alone is premeditated (obviously someone needed to print those mailers out with all those "free" stickers). I've tried to get our name removed from their list, but we still get pestered constantly. I wish I knew who they paid to campaign for them, because someone's obviously making huge bucks out of this.
