Got a call from this number at 9 in the morning. Caller ID showed "unavailable," but I answered anyway b/c I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't tell if the area code was 215 or 216 - we know people in the 215 area code. When I answered, no one responded. Sorta ticked me off. After I got my glasses, and saw the area code, I dialed the number back. All I got was a recording that advised the person I was trying to call was unavailable, and that I should leave a message after the tone. I dialed the number 4 times, and got the same each time. So each time, I hammered the keys on the number pad. I don't know if this REALLY works or not, but the last solicitor/scammer/spammer I did this to never called our number again.
I got a call from a man stating he was calling me about my computer, but wasn't able to explain who he was or where he got my number...then hung up after I started asking questions...puzzling...
Went back and forth with one guy then another.....I told him to wire money to my account and he said he would along with a piece of [***]. Then he hung up. This is wire fraud, because it is done on phone lines. Will report to the FCC.
