"Hi this is Christie with rewards redemption; press 1 to receive your $100 card for a popular store!" I pressed 1 and got transferred to "Kim Lopez" who sounded incredibly Asian (not being racist, just honest) in a tremendously loud environment. It's was hard to hear her. She wanted all my personal contact info to send me my reward in addition my credit card to pay for a nominal shipping fee. I told her "before I give you this, can you tell me why John Wayne was such a good President?" She hesitated, and after a few pauses she answered "be-kaus he did greet things fo' our countrii!" LoL. So I proceeded to give her J.E Hoover's building address, Director Comey's name and the FBI headquarters main number. Hopefully that will put them on their list.
I just got a call from that number the weird thing is that i have a sent text to that number at the same time mark as the call. all it says is "Can't talk right now... i'm on my way.". i am a worried my phone has been hacked by them has anything like this happened to anyone else.
You probably accidentally bumped your phone and hit the automatic reply. "Can't talk right now, on my way" is a standard auto reply. This way, if you actually can't talk right now and are on your way, you don't have to text that, you can just hit the button and send the message to the caller.
You're phone has not been hacked, but it was a scam phone call
