They call my house many times a day. When I pick up, there is noone there. They let it go to voice mail but leave no message. When I try to call back, I'm told it is a non working number. Then they give you another number which is also non working. It goes on and on like this.
I am getting these calls too. Told them to stop calling me because I have no account with a 'key bank' They said they would stop. I'm still getting the calls. Multiple times a day. I am going to file a police report for harassment. Enough is enough! They asked me for my social security number and address. If I had an account there, wouldn't they already have that information. I think it is an identify theft scam!
This number have been calling me at least 3 or 4 times a day, they called over the Holidays... if it was a real agency, shouldn't they have Christmas or the New Years Off at least.... when I answer the phone twice for them, it's the same Guy and he stated he works for KeyBank... I believe it's a scam!!!
They have also been bugging me for about a month now! No message, no return #, NOTHING! No relations to Key Bank so it's definately fishy!! A lady was on when i answered once (because I don't run from bill collectors) and she asked for someone I'd never heard of. It's BS!!!
I receive phone calls from these people anywhere from 3 to 9 times a day. They have called me as early as 6 am in the morning, and as late as 10 at night. Whenever I pick up the call, I ask them to please take me off of their calling list, I inform them that it is against the law for them to call me at these hours and this frequency, and stress that if they need to contact me bad enough to call me like this, then they can send me a letter. If they were a legitimate operation, they would have my mailing address. I refuse to give them any of my information because, as I do have a student loan with Key Bank, I will never do business, or try to work with people who are harassing me, and disregarding my rights like this. I do not run from my bills, but I have the self-respect to tell them to shove off when they a blatantly disregarding the law!
