Called my unlisted, on-the-do-not-call-list, cell phone, advising me that my eligibility for reducing my unpaid credit card bills ( I have NO unpaid bills ) is expiring. I pressed 1 to be connected to a live agent, who promptly hung up on me when I advised him that his company was making illegal calls to numbers registered on that list.
Received call today on my cell phone from this number. Robo message stated "this is consumer services about getting a lower credit card interest rate". Funny enough they didn't say which card and I wasn't pushing 1 to talk to an Indian scammer!
