When is all these unknown callers going to stop ?!!!! Received 8calls just today - total 4 of them was 1 call every hr getting tired of stupid calls phones are getting miss used to much about to shut it off . no peace any More.
I finally answered after getting about 7 calls in two weeks, mostly ignored. I won a travel package from an entry that I supposedly submitted about 36 months ago. I don't recall any sweepstakes entry and we are not in the position to travel extensively anywhere. When she asked me to get my checkbook to "keep a record of the transaction" or something to that effect, I explained it didn't sound right at all, and hung up. I suspected she would have wanted my account number next. I'm getting more incensed at the brazenness of telemarketers, but I guess some people are desperate enough to follow through.
