They call repeatedly asking for my boss and acting like they know him. They are hesitant to say where they are calling from. For them looking for money for what is a good cause, they are incredibly annoying, persistant and RUDE!If it weren't for the personality of those calling, perhaps they would get a better response/donation.
They are indeed looking for donations. Current cause (Good Cause) the Greater Cleveland Police Memorial Society. I requested they fax over this information for my review. I went to the www.policememorialsociety.com site and compared the rates for full page, half page ect. The requested amount for the same ad (full page) was 231% above the website request. The half page was 240% higher than the Society's request.
These are individuals,who are middlemen profiting from this cause. Go to the website and donate directly.
