I think its more like the credit score/background check companies sell your info (or their database get hacked) bc everytime Ive had my credit score checked (buying car, renting apartment, buying a home, and even applying to some jobs) etc i see a noticeable increase in these types of calls. Even APPLYING to some jobs that are fake companies (or they are real but compromised) exist simply to data collect. You provide you full name, email address, sometimes DL #, phone number, race, gender etc. Theres a lot of unnecessary info requested at somrle companies. Wed be naive to think they run secure enough measures to protect our privcacy.
Also after a lot of people registered to vote this year i saw a marked increase in spam calls to friends, family, etc
Called my cell. I don't answer calls I do not recognize. Left no msg. If we can afford to pay for trump's constant trips to Florida as well as pay for his kids' business trips, why can't we afford to pay for the resources to eliminate these robo-caller scams???
