Quite obviously a scammer. They call, do not speak. When I called back (using *67), I was given two options from an automated attendant. Press 1 for a representative. Press 2 to be put on the Do Not Call list. I pressed 1, and it transferred the call then went to a dial tone. No person, no information. Block this caller!
I have also received this call (to my cell phone, numerous times), and the same "unknown" company from several other phone numbers. They never leave a message and I never pick up when they call. When I call back, their recorded message is very unprofessional and does not state "who they are". Their recorded message is a female, sounds like she is from India and all their representatives sound like they are also from India. They obviously have numerous numbers they use since I have rec'd the calls from 3 different numbers (all with the same recorded message when I call back). Same option 1-representative, option 2-do not call list. I always do *67, call from another phone that we rarely use and select option 1. Once the representative picks up I blow them raspberries for about 5 seconds then hang up. I figure they bother me, then I will bother them. I would suspect that I have blown them about 10-12 raspberries on 3 different phone numbers they call me from.
I don't give out my cell phone number, so when I get a call from a number I don't recognize, I don't answer because it's nearly always a junk call. This number has called once, hasn't tried to call back, so it's probably not a friend or relative. I don't know anyone who lives in Illinois, so I'm going to say it's spam.
