Caller id showed "Womens Cancer". This is the same caller using number 773-341-1331 on Oct 19. So on Oct 20, they try to rope me in using a different number. Sorry Charlie, no ringy dingy! You lose morons!
New Scammer Womens Cancer Fund. No such charity. A run was sponsored by them in1997. They are not a charity, not even a blip on Charity Navigator. They called me about 7 time this week already and it’s only Wednesday.
The original number they called from was 773-341-1331. Then they called from 217-281-0264. When I finally answered a woman asked for Maddie. The same ruse that the Firefighters Charity Fund (also a major scam) and the Vets of the Midwest (also a scam, but clever to throw in the Midwest factor since I live in Chicago). I told her she was a scammer and there is no such Charity on Charity Navigator, or anywhere on the Internet. I told her I will not donate to a scam charity, and they were using the same ruse the firefighters and vets of the Midwest was using and not to call me again because I am on the do not call list.
I have researched the charity, it is bogus, a scam. They collect millions. There are many legit charities on Charity Navigator. They are all rated and they give you percentages on how much money is given to real programs versus how much is taken by people in operations.
