Who called from 2175998977

I recieved a call from 8764485183.  Was told to call this number 2175998977 to collect $250,000 from Publisher's Clearing House.  The caller ID showed Kingston.

My mother got a call from 717-889-8913 saying they were Publisher's Clearing House and that she'd won $250,000. To collect this money, she was told to call 217-599-8977 where a man with an accent told her that FedEx would be at her house within an hour along with a state marshall to deliver a check. She was to go get a $500 "money pack" to give to the FedEx person for an official "stamp" for the check, as the check is not valid without the "stamp." They told her that she would follow someone to the bank at that point. When she asked why they just didn't meet her at the bank, and she would pay after the check was proven to be valid, the guy got agitated and told her "that's just not how it works." My mother immediately called the police- Publisher's Clearing House does not notify winners by phone and does not ask winners to pay money up front.

Ogdensburg police are warning the public to beware of a possible telephone scam.

Police were called Thursday at 1:50 p.m. by a woman who said she was called and told she won a “mega millions” contest.

Police called two names, Mr. Rich at 876-391-0469 and Mrs. Johnson at 217-599-8977. They both denied making the calls.

I got a call from 217-599-8977 said her name was Susan Grace from the Federal Trade Commission said I won $200,000 and she was getting the paperwork ready to send the money out tomorrow. She also asked me if I live closed to Walmart and the Airport and if I wanted to remain confidential or publicized. She also informed me that I need will need to pay the IRS $205.00 tomorrow, so she wants me to call back at 9:00am and I should have the "money i won" by 11:00AM.

These people are relentless and rude - they call several times a day saying they are from the Claims department when I ask from what company they hang up on me -
