Called multiple times 1st was robo call asking for my husband & then saying press 1 if it was him, 2 if not or 3 if this was not the tel # for this person. I pressed 2 it then said to bring the person to the phone as this was not a sales call but an important personal matter. Well, since we have zero debt & no past debt I knew this was some scam. I stayed on the line & it the background noise you could tell was a very busy call center. The man was a foreign voice possible Indian or Pakistani accent & I asked where he was calling from he wouldn't say & the got extremely rude. I ended up telling him to put us on a do not call list. This is definitely some scam as he said my husband had to call back with a credit card to pay off multiple debts. Needless to say this number is now blocked! All the caller id said was Champaurbn, IL 217-903-4874
Have no idea who this is.. I didn't answer the phone because I don't answer calls from unknown numbers and they didn't leave a message. So obviously it wasn't important...
Got a call from this number. C.I. displayed Champaurbn IL. Am keeping log of these calls and will deal with them when I'm ready. Thanks to this service and other posters. Have a good one.
Already called twice this week. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers but we have been getting several calls a day from several different numbers. Not answering does not stop them from calling, in fact it seems like they call more! All that shows up on caller id for these numbers is unavailable or out of area.
