Caller said we had won a free cruise through Nationwide Transfer. I do not know who that is for we have never done business with any such company. Caller said we needed to attend a free seminar in order to claim our prize. We are not interested in cruises so we declined the offer. Woman got rather testy because we were not thrilled to win a cruise.ation
Called at 7:13 PM on Tuesday (7/14/2015) ... don't know who it was, because our call blocker hangs up after the first ring, on any calls that come from area code 217 . . . Historically, we used to have to block so many different telemarketer numbers coming from area code 217 that it started to use up too much of our overall blocking capacity storage limit, so we cleared out all the individual 217 numbers we had been blocking, and just blocked the whole area code. (There are about 50 other area codes we also block, for the same reason. . . . too many telemarketer calls)
