Got a call from this number a man said he was in the area and needed to know who could accept importatnt.legal documents that he needed to deliver to my wife in case she was not at home when he arrived at our house. I did not call this joker back what does he think people are stupid like I would call him back after leaving a message like that. This was two days ago haven't heard from him again I do not know what he us up too but he's definetly full of it.
Im the HR Dept Dir for a large firm I was lft a mssg in (general phone line) answering machine wanting one of our employees to call this number back regarding the delivery of important IRS documents that they were unable to deliver during the day.... are employee is a (Night shift employee, who is home all day) as well ,it turns out the employee got the certified mail confirmation but the father signed for the mail but he misplaced the IRS documentation it was a young UPS driver with the same number and the IRS papers had to do with tax issues on property.
I received a call from this number Saturday 06/23/2012. I missed the call and received a voice message from a man claiming to be a rep from my credit card company. I called the number back and he did not answer so I left a message for him to call me back. I never received a call back until this morning (Monday 06/25/2012). This guy calls me back at 7:00am and states he is sorry for the early call but it is because he is on the east coast and wanted to return my call. He states he is with my credit card company (Credit One Bank) which is actually an issuer of one of my credit cards I currently have (Scary that they have this info- must have a copy of my credit report). He claimed he was calling because they were reviewing my file and I qualified for a limit increase of 3 times my current limit and he needed to collect some information from me so he could approve the credit limit. He asked for my address which made no sense since he should have updated info since my credit card company mails me monthly statements. So I told him he should already have that info he then said ok and was about to move on to the next question when I advised him that I was NOT the primary card holder and could not give approval on credit limit increases by law, he then stated I was right and that he realized I wasnt the primary card holder and there was two other card holders for a total of 3 card holders(BS-there is not 3 cardholders on this card) he then stated oh ok well we mailed you a packet with information so when you receive it just mail it back (BS I bet I will never receive this so called packet). So sad there is people out there trying to pull these scams to get you information.
I got the same call and was approved the following day i got the packet and all the documentation I also reported the same fella that clled Mark when I asked if there was someone like that doing those things and they said there was an ex gruntel employee that quit and called many of the credit card holder and on purpose was trying to mis guide and confuse people with a scamming attitude finally the caught up to this ex employee and fined him i heard it was well over 50k...any way i got my packet and sent it in to where the address indicated and 3 weeks latr i got an increase onmy credit card and so did my wife and my son whos at Harvard,
I received a call from this man who left a message saying he was a debt collector and that if I did not return his call he would call my employer and also take me to court. I returned call and I'll I got was a machine.
