Got a call from 217-960-6587 and they asked me if I knew Sam Shifflett I told them no .Then she said I would be getting some papers soon .I just hung up then blocked the call.
Second call from this number. Caller ID says Jenna Clifford but there is never a message left. Don't know anybody by that name. Don't feel like calling long distance from my landline to find out what it is so I google it and come up with this? Seems odd.
got a call from this same number. asked for a guy i hadn't heard from in over 8 years and they said he put me down as a point of contact but i didn't have this number back then. They were trying to tell me he was going to be reprimanded for listing this as a false contact. I told the lady oh well don't ever call this number again!! she tried to tell me the guy was getting out of jail trouble and would be in big trouble and i said don't call here ever again. Then i saw this site when googling and obviously a scam!!

The agent then stated " Well {person Name} will be reprimanded for giving false information." I, being a collections manager for over 25 years, advised the agent that statement is against the law and agents aren't permitted to use any harassing statements. I asked the agent for the NAME OF THE COMPANY, A SUPERVISORS NAME, AND PHONE NUMBER. She neglected and i advised her that per the law, when asked, she is advised to give this basic information. She put me on hold for 3 long periods of time then hung up.
I did my due diligence and figures the company's name is CDI (Global Discover Incorporation) https://www.globaldiscoveries.com
