Calling for someone with same last name as me (no relation). Received same call looking for a different person with same last name earlier this week - came from 319-984-4006. Same caller, same script. "If this is not Claudia {my last name}, hang up now. Hello this is Sylvia Holt...it's not too late...you or your attorney should call or your record will be permanently affected...blah blah blah." Bottom-feeder collection agency must be just going through online directories calling everyone with same last name. Thank goodness my Panasonic phone has 500 number call block!
Received a message today from Sylvia Hoaks - not sure what she is referring to. "Your file has been escalated due to your failure to respond. Have your counsel respond." She is making aggressive accusations and the number rings and rings when you call her back. Must be a scam- she didn't state who she was calling for.
I got the exact same message 3 hours ago from the same lady! She never stated who she worked for or what the matter was regarding. She said it 'would behoove' me to call her back... I will do no such thing. However, she did call my work cell phone and my dad stated she called him as well. Never heard of this company.
Received same exact message from Ms. Sylvia. Didn't call back just googled the call back number here. They are looking for my bio mom whom I haven't spoken to in over 22 years. They must be contacting relatives based on free back ground checks you can get on-line. Still not sure how they even got my cell # since its in my husband's name & my bio mom has no idea who I married 12'years ago.
Yes got a call from this number today at 4:15 pm on 2/19/2016 asking for someone who dose not live here. Their message was. Have this person or lawyer call us back at the 1-218-206-8541 by 7:00 pm . When I dialed the number back to tell do not call this number person dose not live here it just rang and rang and rang....ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The company name they used was this is the Federal Law calling for so and so.
Ssylva called me some [***] or w.e. tried to call them back but just kept ringing. Iono seems like a new scam to me company name may be legit but i know i have no out standing debt.
