Repeated calls three to five times a week offering to lower interest rates. I have filed complaint with FCC but no help.
I will file a follow-p complaint.
SCAMMERS: ID said Out of Area. It rang approx. 15 times before hanging up. Did not leave message machine on for them. JUST ANOTHER SCAMMER. Don't know anyone in Minnesota.
My husband answered by mistake and was a man with a foreign Indian accent.
Please send them back to their countries.
Tired of all those calls from foreigners.
Nothing against foreigners just to the telemarketers. Mostly they do not how to talk in English and are always trying to get your credit card information.
Some one make an arrest these people who are making those type of phone calls.
From what I have found in my research on these people is that they actually are in India and have something like 3 or 4 direct telephone lines into the United States that allows them to dial us direct from their telephones in India with no problem whatsoever. Another of their favorites is the Microsoft scam which I can't conceive of anyone reading this not having received at least one. They are very good at spoofing a legitimate looking telephone number in the USA and St Jude's Cancer Research Hospital for Children in Memphis, TN is an example of that. I had received several calls with a Memphis exchange (which I recognized as I have relatives in Memphis) and Caller ID of St Jude's that I answered and each one was a woman with a strong Indian accent and I would hang up. Then I got the Call Blocker and in the material furnished and links to other sources I found there were over 100 spoofed numbers for St. Jude's. Later, I receive another call from the same exchange in Memphis with the same caller ID. When I answered I immediately went off in a tirade about what a bunch on no good scumbags they were for pretending to represent one of the finest Children's Cancer Hospitals in world. She allowed me to finish and I fully expected she had hung up a long time ago but she had not and said she was calling to thank me for my recent gift, which I had made by mail. She was completely unaware this was going on but she would see that appropriate personnel were notified.
