Got a call from these guys today. I have Optimum Online, and it lets me block numbers (over the internet) of people I don't want to talk to. I've blocked about 5-6 "Card Services" numbers to date. When they can't get through using one line, I guess they just try another....... Persistent sob's.
I also am able to block, through the internet, an unlimited number of calls from any number except 000-000-0000. I know there is no such number, but I would love to call these people (if you can call them that) and have their caller ID device display 000-000-0000, and let them know a few things. Whenever I get a call that does not leave a message, or leaves a very cryptic message that is impossible to understand, I block the number and the next time they call, I never hear the phone ring and they get a message that the call is unable to go through. I say let them change numbers as often as they like. I will block every one of them, one at a time.My family, friends, and LEGITIMATE business callers would never tell me to go @#$k myself, and they would never ask when was the last time I shaved my "privates". Keep on blocking and be as persistent as they are (anyone lady with the name of "Jen" can't be all bad :) ).
I keep getting calls. You're right. Keep switching phone numbers. I also have Optimun Online & they told me they cannot block calls. How are you doing it? Thanks.
I pressed 9 to ask them to "please remove me from their call list". (it was a credit card interest rate lowering offer)
He told me he had two questions to ask me.
1. How long have I been receiving these calls.
2. When is the last time I shaved my [***].
Any help on this would be appreciated.
What a jerk, I can't believe this guy is employed anywhere.
