Well, it seems to me as though this "company" is aggressively seeking "workers" all over the states. Here is the response that I received from a contact at this company when I asked her if this was a legitimate opportunity or was it a pyramid scam...her response is as follows...I hope this helps EVERYONE that responded to the Craigslist ads!
"Well I am glad you ask. This is legitimate to start off. I have been working on it about 1 week and have had nothing but success. To your question about a pyramid; the answer is yes and no. Once you recruit people there is a monthly charge for the website they have that is $10, you receive 10% of that $10 and any people they sign up. You also however receive $100 for every 5 people in a week you sign up. That is for you and you alone. This way you take advantage of both. I have worked with other companies that are on a pyramid scheme, so I know that it can be a hassle, but this is very easy. There are no phone calls unless you choose, it is all email. I hope you give it the 7 day free trial at least."
There you are. The response you will get once you question the person on the other end.
It is a normal long distance number. So whatever your long distance rate is, that is what you pay. If you have unlimited minutes on your landline...then it's part of your unlimited package. If you use a cell phone, it uses your minutes up like any other call--so if you have free nights or weekednds, etc...then it is free.
It's a dial-in number for freeconferencecall.com, used by many people and organizations.
That number is used by many companies or organizations holding conference calls. It's not just the one discussed above from a Craigslist ad about selling domains. I would find it odd for people to be receiving calls from this number - it's a dial-in number.
There are at least a couple of support groups that use this conference call service for telephone meetings, too.
Most reputable companies give you 1-800 or 866 or 877, etc numbers to call so you don't have to pay long distance charges that might apply. Same for conference call-ins. FreeConferenceCall.com advertises a "free" conference call in number. Its free for the person that sets up the call. However, if you have to call long distance to get on the conference call, you pay.
I took what's below here off the FreeConferenceCall.com web page. Check out how they have this set up. You decide if they are trying to sneak one by you.
What’s the catch?
There is no catch! There are no advertisements to listen to, no quality issues, no hidden fees, no sales pitches, no contracts, no purchases required, no privacy problems, no limitations or restrictions, and no surprises.
