I was called from the 218 349 6512 Saturday night at 9:30. I was already asleep I could not get back to sleep. Something about my computer. Asked them to not call me and take me off their list. I was quite rude. Sunday night they called at 10:00 P.M. SAME NUMBER . When I answered, there was silence.
This guy keeps calling my house heavy accent says there's a problem with my computer I have told him several times I'm not interested he keeps calling from different numbers I have threatened him to report him he just speaks over me he just called me 7:30 am on a Friday seriously why do these people do this its disgusting its harassing people I hope he stops I've memorized some of the numbers where he calls from but then he starts calling from new one it's such a shame people need to deal with this
Its an old scam. He wants you to let him into your computer so he can fix those problems. But there aren't any real problems. If you let him in he'll run a fake scan that will show what looks like a lot of problems. He will offer to fix those problems for a fee. When you agree he will install malware. The malware may let him watch everything you do on the computer. If you do on-line banking he'll get your access codes and steal all of your money. He'll harvest names, phone numbers, and email addresses for all of your contact and try to scam them. He'll use your computer for DDoS attacks.
Yes, this is scam. A man or a woman with an foreign accent called me several times at night (9-10 pm) that my Windows operating system has technical problems and viruses.
