I received a message from Albert VIA craigslist. Like the other post it was written very poorly. He was using the email [email protected]. Thanks for the info
Just received an email response to a Craigslist Posting for some tires and this phone number was part of the email response. I live in Michigan and this number is reportedly in Minnesota. Not likely that a guy from Minnesota is going to drive to Michigan for some vintage tires. Also, the email was written kind of choppy and slightly illogical AND never mentioned the item that I had up for sale. This is similar to most spam responses I get from some of my Craigslist Postings. I figure this is spam / scam for sure.
Mine is the same -- craigslist reply for tires. # says michigan area code. I'm marking it as a scam email. These people are such losers and a waste of oxygen.... sigh.....
Just got an email. He wanted to send a cashier check and then send someone to pick the stuff I had on CL. This is a scam as they will cancel the check and it will cost more fees. Look for out of country ones too. Come to find out they can get up to double than their original check. This is a huge RIP for people who do not know.
