Received a text indicating that they would send a certified check and their mover would be handling the pick up and delivery of the item I was selling. I Googled the phone number and discovered the message was bogus...just as I thought.
Received text message that they wanted to buy a car I had posted. they would send via certificed check and their mover would be handling the pick up and shipping. I asked many questions most were ignored so I later found out that this is just another person trying to scam people out of there money.
Same story exactly. Said they wanted to buy a car i posted and would be paying by certified check and have their mover do the rest. Thought it was weird so did some research. I guess they make fake certified checks and the bank usually cashes them and nobody finds out they're fake till weeks later and them ull get stuck with having to pay that money back. Long story short when selling something only accept cash
