My friend has been getting numerous texts from this number over the last 2-3 weeks at all times of the day and night. This guy who claims his name is Jae Laymon claims to be from New York Florida and wants info such as marital status, and other personal information from her such as does she work, live alone, etc. He only wants to text. His english in his texts is also peculiar. He does not use proper american or london english in his texts. He says he cant call her number to talk to her because he can't get a call to go through. We called him and got him to actually talk on the phone tonight by us calling him with no problem getting through.
He speaks with a foreign accent similar to Haitian or African. He claims he is from Florida but his number comes up from Minnisota.
We believe this guy is trying to run a catfish type scam on some unsuspecting women and we want his information to be known. His behavior and mannerisms are very suspicious as well as his facebook page so

SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY NOT RIGHT WITH THIS CALLER. HE IS UP TO SOMETHING.
He gave her his Facebook page under the name of Jae Laymon. It shows a picture of a grey haired elderly white man approximately in his late 50's early 60"s in different backgrounds but the same picture, as if it's been photoshopped into the backgrounds.
He says he is widowed for 5 years and studied building technology at university of London. Says he is a self employed construction worker.
His voice definitely does not sound like a white man of that age. His voice sounds young and has a Haitian or African accent His accent in no way has a London or British accent either.
