Another credit card scammer. To fight these scum you have to take action yourself..... don't waste your time reporting it...the do not call list is a joke. If you do not already have a call blocking service (or run out of space), do yourself a favor and get a call blocker box, and just plug it in to your phone line.....believe me, it will be the best money you ever spent.....lots of them out there, check Amazon,Google and Fleabay. I got one last year and it only costs around $50. It stores up to 1500 or so numbers and uses caller ID. Just scroll thru the incoming call list and hit the blacklist button for the spam ones and presto, no more rings on calls from this number (you can also manually enter numbers to block, entire area codes or all out of area numbers). It logs all calls in or out. Phone line is pretty quiet now as there are no repeat calls (although a lot of these spammers like this one have multiple numbers so you have to block each one as they come in). Spammers have to hate these devices; it's always interesting to check the caller ID on the box periodically just to see how many times they try to call back (and get blocked).....
Any time I have a problem caller like this, I add them to an existing contact named BLOCK, as an additional phone number. I have this contact set to go straight to voicemail so the phone doesn't even ring the next time they call.
Received a call from this number and did not answer it. When I tried to call back, there was nothing, like I had no service. Other numbers wrang thru. Assuming it was automated
