The caller asked for my husband, I asked who is calling and if I can take a message, and the caller (she) hung up.

Jennifer asked for the owner.  I asked if I could take a message.  She said no.  I asked if she was a company calling about credit card processing of payments.  She said no.  I asked her to talk me off her list.  She said she didn't have a list and hung up.

I let her talk. She just wants to talk to you about your business's credit card processing and all the extra fees the government just added.

asked for my husband by name, I said he wasn't home could I take a message, she hesitated for a awhile then said no and hung up. Noise in the background that I could not identify.

I missed a call from this number - the area code is not in my state.  not much to report, but glad i missed it.
