Calls about auto warranty. Asks if you'd like to speak with an auto specialist, if you say no it hangs up, if you say yes it hangs up. Annoying as hell and I don't know how to block numbers. -_-
I don't think most people are getting the point of websites like this, by typing that you didn't answer or ignored the call and the caller didn't leave a message doesn't really give any information. Answer the call and explain what they wanted and who it was, like Andrew.
Dear Mike, I'm afraid it's you who is missing the point. The website helps people see how many folks are getting calls with no messages left so that they don't block a single misdialed call, etc. if you answer the call or call them back all you're doing is verifying the number is indeed active and worth keeping on the list to use again or sell to other scammers. Actually, I agree with Mike. Someone should take the hit so other people who look in here have better information about who's calling, although I agree with you that if a lot of people are posting here about an unknown caller, it's a pretty big hint they're scumbags and lowlifes. Besides, if people are reporting calls with no messages left, they've already alerted the scumbag caller that theirs is an active line because it went to voicemail. So that part of your argument is specious, Mr. D.
It's a automated recording telling me my vehicle warranty has expired and to press a number to speak with someone or a different number to opt out which I have done a few times. Everytime this place calls me it is from a different number but I keep adding them to the blocked list on my phone. I did get through someone once and after I gave them the make and year of my vehicle the callended.
