Call requesting a return phone call for Verizon Wireless at 866.517.0773

Keeps calling almost every day asking me to call back about my cell phone service.

I've gotten a call from this number six times in the last two weeks, as soon as I pick up they hang up.

This is an automated dial phone number  as soon as one party picks up, it shuts off  all the other calls it was making therefore you hear nothing when you pick up. Hammond IN on CID.
These services can be tricked with an answering machine not to call you back with a disconnected  number SIT just call a disconnected number that plays the 3  tones then record the 3 tone signal on your answering machine and let it take the call it signals their computer to pitch your number off the automated call list. You may have to say hello just before you record the SIT on your answering machine so their computer thinks a human picked up the phone once signaled it wont call back until they reprogram the call list.
