Our annswering service called twice regarding a credit card problem. The second time they called she was able to get a number. They asked for a 16 digit number. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
Recorded woman's voice said call from "State Dept Federal Credit Union" and that my credit card had been compromised. Told to select #1 to speak with a person. Had a better idea, hung up. This is a fraud operation.
Recording from "Zia Credit Union". My visa card has been declined. Told to select #1 to speak with an represenitive. Went along out of curiosity. (I don't have a credit card) A recording said "to better serve you" I would need to enter 3 pieces of information before a rep would come on the line. The recording also stated the call was being recorded for quility assurances. Then the recording asked for my Visa Card number. I entered 4444 4444 4444 4444. A machine altered man's voice came on and repeated the number and "if this is correct press 1." I did. "The card number is invalid. Please enter card number again." Didn't get any further than that. It is truly a "Fisher". Beware!

I can confirm Not 2 Happy's experience ... it was a fishy sounding Robo-call telling me that she was from the "State Department Federal Credit Union" and there was unauthorized activity on my back card.
Since I have neither a bank card nor an account with the SDFCU (whatever that is), I hung up.
Okay, this is horrible when you actually work at DOS and have an account and it's calling your home and your trap line in DOS. This is the 5 time in the past 2 months.
