Got a call and emails from a scam company identifying themselves as Windows Technical Support. They claim there is a problem with my computer and it will crash if they don't fix. Beware of calls from (219) 557-9212.
Number keeps calling asking kathy.I have told them multiple times they have the wrong number and stop calling me. The guy literally told me "I will keep calling you." I.want them to stop calling me!
I, too, received such a call today but did not answer it. When I call that number, I inevitably get a busy signal. I would suggest that you report them to the Do Not Call Registry.
I too just received a phone call from the same number claiming they were Windows Technical Department from IT Services. I told him I wanted a number to call him back and he gave me # 1-800-333-4567. I believe this is a total scam, especially after reading all these posts. The caller ID said # 219-557-9212.
