I just got the call which led to an 888 number. (It was about that Chevy my wife entered to win) The guy said she had won a prize. Not the truck...just a prize. She must have entered a contest to win a Chevy truck somewhere sometime, else why would we get the call. Right?
Unfortunately I accidentally on purpose deleted the message before I could copy down the toll free number to call to get our not truck. Jeez!
I guess there is no relation with this and other new calls coming in now after entering to win a prize at a local car place. That $2 we won was small change to the ad company for getting our name and phone number. The saga continues...
Another "your name is a winner from an entry you submitted" on the message machine. Total BS. They mentioned my spouse's name. Let's just say that my spouse has been "indisposed" for a couple of years and unable to circulate in society.
Next time this @$$ calls I'll update this post. This sounds like DirectBuy's crap.
