A woman with an Indian accent told me she was with Microsoft and that my computer has a virus.
She was very hard to understand and very, very, very rude.
Indian accent was so heavy could not understand him. Requested him to repeat himself twice but accent to heavy to know what he said so I just hung up. Don't know what he wanted.
Called my office and when I answered I could tell it was a call center. The caller ID showed and Indiana number, which was of course fake. Guy with an Indian accent asked if this was an office and I said yes. OOOOOOOOOOH! He says. And how old you are??? I said what's that got to do with anything and hung up. Taking time out of my day to answer these bogus calls is infuriating.
These people continuously call my phone telling me I have vicious malware and they can fix it. It's always someone with an accent. Eventually I stopped hanging up on them and started to mess with them. I often ask them if I get the virus from going to naughty sites. Once my brother said a few choice words about "their god" and the man started cussing, and called back 10 times in a row just to cuss at us. I have fun with them when they call. To anyone who thinks these calls are legit, please don't do what they ask. Microsoft or any other company will NEVER call you to let you know something is wrong with your computer. It's 100% guaranteed a scam to get personal information from your computer.
