This call is from a "charitable" foundation that is misdirecting funds to a for-profit marketing company. They are the Autism Spectrum Foundation located in Schereville, IN. They are using "Autism Aware" in their caller ID which is a real charity that is highly effective and respected. They called me and asked me to distribute solicitation requests to my neighbors. I declined, but then he said they were based in Indiana so I decided to look them up. Bad news all around. DO NOT GIVE OR SOLICIT FOR THIS COMPANY
I blocked the entire area code (219). I don't know anyone from Gary, IN. I laugh at all the calls that get blocked since the phone never rings. They can use all the numbers they want, but they're only wasting their time. I use the Digitone Call Blocker 10 along with a Panasonic call blocking cordless phone system. It's easy to setup, and it works.
