I received call saying my visa card was temporily locked and to select 1 to continue and 2 to exit(I disconnected call).
Called number back and message from Artist in the Sky indicated someone is using their mnumber for illegitimate purposes. This definately is a new scam I have never seen before...don't know how they got my number and I hope they catch the [***]
I checked my voicemail after I got off work and I had one message. First, I tried to listen to it with the windows down, but I couldn't hear it at all. I listened to it a second time, with the windows up, and all I heard was a female voice. I couldn't understand it at all, so I put it on speakerphone. Again, I couldn't understand it, but now it sounded super, super creepy and it was definitely still a woman. The message played in a jumbled, almost rhythmic tone. Like one big word. I played it to a co-worker and he said it sounded like, "When you hear this, give me a call."
I called voicemail again, a few minutes later, but this time I was determined to make sense of the message. The first listen, still nothing. Too fast, and too jumbled. I pressed four (for repeat message). This time the message sounded a little slower. I thought maybe it was because I was hearing it more clearly the second time. But still nothing. I pressed four again. This time I heard it more clearly than either of the first two listens, and it sounded way slower than the first - suspiciously slower. It sounded like, "foranyinconveniencethismaycause."
After about fifteen minutes or so of recalling voicemail and listening to the message over and over again, I was sure it got progressively slower. I recorded it on GarageBand and the eerie results are in the picture attached. The message clearly played progressively slower with each play and replay.

Now I had decided to call the number back. It went straight to voicemail, and this is the message that followed...
"Hello this is Artist In The Sky aerial photography. We recorded this temporary message on Tuesday, July 29th. It appears than some 'entity' is using our caller ID to call people with a message that has no connection to our aerial photography service. We apologize for this, and we have alerted the appropriate authorities..."
Some dumb scamming [***] [***] [***] called me from this number pretending to be an arial photogrphaer. burning up my cell phone minutes on a business celluar phone. People in USA can barely conduct business or answer a phone because of [***] idiots like this telemarketer. I hope someone curb checks his [***], and busts his jaw. I will buy a poster size photo of that if someone is willing and interested.
