This number just called my cellphone. Caller left no voicemail. This number looks like a scammer judging from other reviewers who left story. I have a phone that can block# (iphone5). So I'm all set =)
Windows tech support.
Me: please remove my number from your calling list?
Him: why?
Me: because I'm not interested in your service.
Him: but why aren't you interested if you're a a Windows computer user?
Me: but I didn't contact you.
Him: you need this service ....
Blah blah I hung up.
This phone number calls me and tells me that my windows computer is sending a lot of alerts and notifications to their company, and that my computer is in error.
I asked the caller (Male) to identify what year, model, make, etc. of my computer, and to verify my identity as owner of this computer before proceeding.
He could not. (Scammer)
All he could say was my computer was sending lots of signals.
My computer is fine. I never purchased any insurance plans or even connected my phone number to my specific PC.
This number calls me twice a day. If I answer nobody says anything. Once some lady with a fake accent left a voice mail with a call back number with 888 area code. When I returned the call voice mail box hadn't been set up. WTF? I'm so done being harassed and no elected officials doing anything!
Just missed a call from this number. Left a 7 second voicemail. I could hear something in the backgrond, and what sounded like someone breathing into the phone and then the recording stopped.
