They're claiming that you requested the call and try to sell you a back brace. When you ask to be removed from their calling list, they keep selling, I had to ask 4 times. Then the lady said okay and hung up, and then their robo-dialer called me 10 minutes later. They're real pieces of [***].
That's because their crooks. It is better not to answer numbers you do not recognize. When this number came up on my caller ID, I simply hit the block button on my call blocker. The Caller ID said the call came from Des Plains, IL. I know no one in IL. So I knew right off the bat it was likely a scam. And given what you said about their trying to sell you a back brace, I now have confirmation. Because the back brace scammers change numbers every so often.
Said I had called them. I had never called them. Voice said to press one to talk to
A representative, or two if I was no longer interested. I pressed two and some idiot came on the line. He got a cussing. He hung up.
