It is a total scam. They try to get you to install their software. Said he would email me the program. When I asked if he was a terrorist he hung up. I kept him on the phone for 20 mins just to waste his time.
Scammer with thick Eastern accent from a call center trying to get information about your computer. They claim to be from Windows Technical department and try to tell you there is an issue with your network and your computer is infected because they are getting a lot of error reports.
I said I've never heard of Microsoft calling people before, they stated they are not Microsoft but windows technical division helping me with my infection.
They then try to find out if it is a home or a business. They ask more questions. I asked them to identify which of my IP's was the one giving them the report... they couldn't. Then I turned on my MAC and it took them 5 minutes to realize I didn't have Windows, before disconnecting the call.
I have reported them to my local sheriff's office.

The guy that called was a complete idiot. I decided to have a little bit of fun and started acting like I was panicking and crying about my computer getting a virus. Then, after he calmed me down I started asking questions. Then, I turned on him and started to call him a "Scammer and a Liar" and did he really think he could trick me? I think he was exhausted after the call. Do they really think people are falling for this stuff anymore? Come on!
